FERN MOTHERSHEAD

SIKESTON -- Fern A. Mothershead, 89, of Sikeston, died Tuesday, Feb. 27, 1996, at Hunter Acres Caring Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1906, in DeSoto, daughter of Frank and Cornelia Tullock Breckenridge.

Mothershead was formerly of Scott City Route 1.

Survivors include two sons, Hoyt Mothershead of Benton, Merlin Mothershead of Scott City; a daughter, Alma Bechtold of Sikeston; a sister, Goldie Harrison of Carterville, Ill.; four grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Lee Fansler officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
