FERN ANDERS

Fern Anders, 81, died Sunday, Feb. 20, 1994, at Fountainbleau Lodge.

She was born May 5, 1912, in Caruthersville, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S.V. Bennett.

Anders was a 1930 graduate of Caruthersville High School, and received a degree in elementary education from Arkansas State University in Jonesboro.

She taught school 42 years at McCarty, Pascola, Cottonwood Point and Caruthersville. She attended Centenary United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Joe H. Anders of Cape Girardeau; two grandsons, and a great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe D. Anders.
