FERN A. MCCAIN

SIKESTON -- Fern A. McCain, 82, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

She was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Sikeston, daughter of John Lawrence and Daisy Lee Frohock Goetz. She and Ernest W. McCain were married Dec. 21, 1935, in Sikeston. He died Dec. 9, 1994.

McCain worked at Sikeston Dry Cleaners and Laundry from 1953-85. She was a member of First Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include a son, Lawrence McCain of Sikeston; two daughters, June Watkins of Sullivan, Ill., Nedria Culbertson of Sikeston; two brothers, Lester Goetz of New Haven, Mich., R.C. Goetz of Bettendorf, Iowa; two sisters, Lila Foote of Sikeston, Estelle Johnson of Centerville, Iowa; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two grandsons, two brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. Burial will be in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
