Fayvette Swank

Fayvette Evelyn Swank, 86, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Upshur Manor in Gilmer, Texas. She was born June 12, 1919, at Seventy-Six, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Birdie Ella Rhyne Parker. She first married J.P. Voss in 1933, at Jackson. She then married Robert Swank in June 1975 at Farrar, Mo. He died in April 1981...

Fayvette Evelyn Swank, 86, formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Saturday, Nov. 26, 2005, at Upshur Manor in Gilmer, Texas.

She was born June 12, 1919, at Seventy-Six, Mo., daughter of Arthur and Birdie Ella Rhyne Parker. She first married J.P. Voss in 1933, at Jackson. She then married Robert Swank in June 1975 at Farrar, Mo. He died in April 1981.

Swank was a former hairstylist.

Survivors include two sons, Edward Voss of Hawkins, Texas, Primm Voss of Cape Girardeau; and nine grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two brothers.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Funeral Home from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Shiloh Cemetery near Farrar, with the Rev. Roger Abernathy officiating.
