EAST PRAIRIE -- E.N. "Fat" Oliver, 86, of East Prairie died Tuesday, Sept. 28, 1999, at East Prairie Nursing Center.
He was born Oct. 16, 1912, in Mayfield, Ky., son of Bird and Minnie Harrell Oliver. He and Colene Calhoun were married Sept. 22, 1934. She died Nov. 5, 1997.
Oliver lived in East Prairie most of his life, where he owned and operated an ice and coal company, frozen food locker, and service station.
He was a member of First Christian Church in East Prairie, and the Masonic Lodge in Charleston.
Survivors include three sons, Freddie Oliver of Wyoming, Larry Oliver of Miner, Andy Oliver of East Prairie; a brother, Curtis Oliver of Bernie; three sisters, Bernita Derwester of Tacoma, Wash., Delores Bundy of Terrell, Texas, Halene Williams of Sikeston; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie after 6 p.m. Friday. Masonic service will be at 7.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Anniston Cemetery. Martin Lucas will officiate.
