ADVANCE -- Fannie E. Turner, 89, of Advance died Tuesday, Nov. 30, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center.
She was born March 7, 1910, in Pontotoc, Miss., daughter of George Washington and Jamina McGregor Boyd. She and Buford Glen Turner were married Dec. 27, 1927, in Pontotoc. He died July 23, 1976.
Turner was a member of First Baptist Church at Steele.
Survivors include a son, Bobby Turner of Lowndes; two daughters, Carolyn Benson and Betty Hubbard of Advance; a sister, Clara Stewart of Memphis, Tenn.; 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, a daughter, a sister, two brothers, and a grandson.
Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bill Fox officiating. Graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Steele.
