JACKSON -- Service for F. Monroe Biri will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church here, with Rev. Alois Stevens officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.

Friends may call at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home here after 4 p.m. today.

Biri, 98 years old, 321 W. Mary St., Jackson, died Saturday, April 6, 1991, at Jackson Manor.

He was born in Perry County Sept. 25, 1892, son of Cornelius and Amanda Jane Massey Biri.

He married Mary Louise Duvall on Nov. 19, 1913. She preceded him in death on Dec. 13, 1968

The Biris moved from Perry County to Jackson in 1915. He farmed and worked for Kasten Brick Co. as a fireman, until his retirement in the late 1960s.

Survivors include 3 sons, Leon Biri and Paul Biri, both of Jackson, Francis Biri, of Groves, Tex.; 4 daughters, Mrs. Ollie (Hazel) Hasseth of Gold Bar, Wash, Mrs. Edward (Helen) Green of St. Louis, Mrs. LeRoy (Joeann) Johnston, of Jackson and Mrs. Everett (Dorothy) Johnston of Jackson; 37 grandchildren; and 77 great grandchildren; and 14 great great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by three daughters, six brothers, three sisters, and five grandchildren.
