CAIRO, Ill. -- Everette "Pete" Fiessinger, 83, of Cairo died Friday, Nov. 25, 2005, at Daystar Care Center in Cairo.
He was born Oct. 3, 1922, at Lowes, Ky., son of Ed and Frussie McGowan Fiessinger. He was married to Gladys Rogers. Later he and Mary K. Stuart were married.
Fiessinger was a retired laborer from a paper mill. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Cairo.
Survivors include his wife; three sons, Charles Fiessinger of Cairo, Stephen Fiessinger of Barlow, Ky., David Stuart of Marion, Ill.; two daughters, Betty Heflin of Barlow, Ky., Belva Thorpe of Silvis, Ill.; a brother, Aubrey Fiessinger of Perkin, Ill.; a sister, Bertha Moallankamp of Pulaski, Ill..; 11 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren.
Graveside service will be at 2 p.m. today at Beechwood Cemetery in Mounds, Ill., with Walter McAllister officiating.
Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, Ill., is in charge of arrangements.
