Everett V. Frazier, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Missouri Veterans Home. He was born July 25, 1915, at Puxico, Mo., son of Ernest and Annie Elizabeth Chronister Frazier. He and Burdetta Garner were married Feb. 5, 1938, in Cape Girardeau. Frazier was employed at General Motors in St. Louis more than 30 years, retiring in 1974. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1979. Everett V. Frazier, 86, died Sunday, Aug. 19, 2001, at Missouri Veterans Home.

He was born July 25, 1915, at Puxico, Mo., son of Ernest and Annie Elizabeth Chronister Frazier. He and Burdetta Garner were married Feb. 5, 1938, in Cape Girardeau.

Frazier was employed at General Motors in St. Louis more than 30 years, retiring in 1974. He moved to Cape Girardeau in 1979. He was a member of United Auto workers Local 25.

He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Billie Woley of St. Louis; and two grandsons.

He was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel was in charge of arrangements.
