PATTON -- Everett Crites, 80, of Patton died Saturday, Nov. 21, 1998, at the Missouri Veterans Home in Cape Girardeau.
He was born May 31, 1918, at Patton, son of Ferdinand and Ida Brotherton Crites. He and Jessie Smith were married on Sept. 27, 1940. She died May 28, 1980. He and Stella Brotherton were married on July 8, 1989. She died May 19, 1998.
Crites was a veteran of World War II, having served in the U.S. Army.
He was a farmer and a member of the Post Oak Methodist Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Judi Statler of New London, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by an infant brother and sister.
Friends may call at the Liley Funeral Home in Patton from 4 to 8 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. The Rev. W. D. Snyder will officiate with burial in the Patton Cemetery.
