Evelyn Wiseman

Evelyn Marie Wiseman, 94, of Cape Girardeau passed away Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at the Lutheran Home Assisted Living West.

She was born April 14, 1923, in Cape Girardeau to Alvin and Florence Edna (Scherf) Ringwald.

She married Ben Wiseman, and he preceded her in death.

Evelyn was a member of Lynwood Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Survivors include a son, Ben Wiseman of Bowie, Texas; two grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brothers, Edward and Alvin Ringwald.

A graveside service was held Thursday at Cape County Memorial Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be given to Saint Francis Medical Center Foundation for a nursing scholarship.
