JACKSON -- Evelyn J. Nanney, 50, of Jackson, died Friday, Feb. 12, 1993, at St. Francis Medical Center.
She was born Aug. 30, 1942, at Friedheim, son of Murphy and Corene Berkbigler Kern.
Nanney had worked at Ralph Edwards, Jackson Hosiery Mill, Chateau Girardeau, and had been a surgery transport technician at St. Francis Medical Center since 1985. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church and St. Ann's Sodality.
Survivors include two sons, Travis and Chris Nanney of Jackson; a daughter, Michelle Nanney of Jackson; a brother, Milford Kern of Jackson; two sisters, Shelvy Ahrens of Friedheim, and Laverne Newell of Jackson.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Immaculate Church. Msgr. Edward Eftink and Rev. Michael Zoellner will officiate, with burial in St. Maurus Cemetery at Biehle.
Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home from 4-8 p.m. today. Parish prayers will be at 7:30.
