SIKESTON -- Evelyn Carr, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at Sikeston. She was born Sept.. 7, 1920, daughter of Oscar and Ethel Foust Crosno. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. She married Walter Carr Nov. . 28, 1936. He died Feb. 12, 1991...

SIKESTON -- Evelyn Carr, 79, died Thursday, Nov. 25, 1999, at Sikeston.

She was born Sept.. 7, 1920, daughter of Oscar and Ethel Foust Crosno. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston. She married Walter Carr Nov. . 28, 1936. He died Feb. 12, 1991.

Survivors included a son, Don Carr of Sikeston; a daughter, Sandy Stricker of Sikeston; a brother, Bill Crosno of Olive Branch, Miss.; a sister, Juanita Carr of Olive Branch, Miss; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
