Evalyn M. Nunley, 94, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Jan. 19, 1995, at Chateau Girardeau Health Center.
She was born June 25, 1900, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of William A. and Bertha Hirsch Moore. She and S. David Nunley were married Jan. 17, 1920, in Cape Girardeau. He died Aug. 22, 1989.
Nunley attended St. Vincent's Academy for Girls and Cape Girardeau Business College. She assisted her husband at Nunley's Drug Store.
She was a member of First Presbyterian Church, VFW Auxiliary, American Legion Auxiliary, Order of Eastern Star, Wednesday Club, and the President's Council of Southeast Missouri State University Foundation.
Survivors include two cousins, Ralph Hirsch and Helen Hirsch Workman of Cape Girardeau.
She was preceded in death by a son and a sister.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-7 p.m. today.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Presbyterian Church, with Dr. Ed Brasington and the Rev. Charles Dreyer officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park.
