Eva Wallace, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995. She was born Feb. 24, 1916, at Mine La Motte, the daughter of Charlie Walton and Emily J. Cummings. Eva Wallace, 79, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, Sept. 23, 1995.

She was born Feb. 24, 1916, at Mine La Motte, the daughter of Charlie Walton and Emily J. Cummings.

On April 23, 1948, she married John William Wallace, who died Dec. 11, 1989. She was a member of the South Side Baptist Church in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include three brothers, Alvin "Si" Walton and Calvin Walton of Cape Girardeau and Ollie Walton of Braggadocio; two sisters, Madge Friese of Cape Girardeau and Iva Allen of Arnold.

Friends may call from noon until 2 p.m. today at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, where funeral service will be at 2 p.m. The Rev. Kendal Hicks will officiate, and burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
