Eva V. Cotner, 84, of Shreveport, La., died Monday, March 27, 1995, in Shreveport.
She was born May 30, 1910, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Fred Joseph and Clara Beaudean Meinz. She and Homer Cotner were married July 3, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He died Feb. 18, 1981.
Cotner was a technician at Southeast Missouri Hospital 16 years, retiring in 1976. She had resided in Shreveport since 1985. She was a member of St. Mary's Cathedral here and Sacred Heart Church in Shreveport.
Survivors include three sons, Wayne and Gary Cotner of Shreveport, Charles Cotner of Hazelwood; a brother, John Meinz of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Cecelia Sonderman of Cape Girardeau, Jo Ann Jaschke of Gulf Breeze, Fla., and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday. Parish prayers will be at 7.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Cathedral, with Msgr. Richard Rolwing officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
