SCOTT CITY -- Funeral for Eurcie Lee Hager, formerly of Scott City, will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Revs. Terry Eades and Kenny Strong will officiate. Burial will be in Memorial Park in Cape Girardeau.
Friends may call at the chapel Thursday from 11 a.m. until service time.
Hager, 82, died Sunday, March 28, 1999, at New Life Hospice Unit in Cleveland, Ohio.
She was born March 26, 1917, at Benton, daughter of James L. and Mary Alice Hensley Rogers. She and James Talbert Hager were married March 27, 1935. He died July 11, 1971.
Hager had been a home health care worker.
Survivors include Robert Hager; three daughters, Margaret Uhrhan of Choctaw, Okla., Elizabeth DeSoto of Oklahoma City, Okla., Deloris Statler of Troy, Mich.; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sons.
