Eunice C. "Deana" Caldwell, 87, of Cape Girardeau died Saturday, April 10, 2004, at Heartland Care Rehab Center in Cape Girardeau.
She was born Oct. 31, 1916, at Allenville, daughter of Fred and Lula Harmon Thompson. She and Donald E. Caldwell were married April 12, 1936, at Ironton, Mo. He died Aug. 23, 1987.
She was a member of Red Star Baptist Church and taught Sunday school at the church for over 50 years.
Survivors include four sons, Donald Caldwell Jr. of Dutchtown, Mike, Tim and Larry Caldwell, all of Cape Girardeau; four daughters, Mary Lou Reid of Florissant, Mo., Karen Gibbs of Scott City, Janet Whitlock and Pam Gibbar, both of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; seven stepgrandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers and two sisters.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Cy Smith officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park at Cape Girardeau.
