SIKESTON -- Eula V. Daniel, 91, of Sikeston, died Friday, April 24, 1998, at the Miner Nursing Center, Miner.
She was born Feb. 17, 1907, at Lamar, Ark., daughter of John and Cordy Blackburn Chronister.
She moved to Sikeston in 1972 from Bell City. She was of the Baptist faith.
She married Namon Daniel Aug. 22, 1922, in Lamar, Ark. He died March 26, 1971.
Survivors include a son, John D. Daniel, of Wappapello; three daughters, Kathleen Powell of Greenbrier, Ark., Mary Qualls and Melba Jean Dilday, both of Orlando; two sisters, Gladys Jackson of Phoenix, Ariz., and Johnilee Cowell of Sikeston; 10 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son and brother.
Service will be held at the Nunnelee Chapel at Sikeston at 2 p.m. today, with the Rev. Ted Wimberly officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Oakland Cemetery at Clarksville, Ark.
