EULA M. ROBERTS

JACKSON - Eula M. Roberts, 92, of Jackson, died Sunday, March 29, 1992 at Deals Nursing Home in Jackson.

She was born March 16, 1900 at Daisy to the late John and Mary Walker Linebarger. She married Eldon Roberts March 26, 1918 at Daisy. He died April 16, 1972.

They had lived in Jackson since March 1920, coming from Daisy.

She was a member of New McKendree United Methodist Church and had been a member of Eastern Star Chapter No. 91 of Jackson for more than 50 years. She was a past worthy matron with that chapter.

Roberts was a chairwoman for a number of years with the former Women's Social Christian Society and taught Sunday school at New McKendree for a number of years.

Surviving are daughters Janet Roberts of Jackson and Elda Jean Lincoln of Cape Girardeau. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and two great, great-grandchildren.

One daughter, a brother, two sisters, and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.

Funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Chapel in Jackson. Officiating will be the Rev. Otto Steinhaus. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.

Friends may call at the funeral home Monday evening from 4 to 8.
