FARRAR -- Eugene W. Brueckner, 78, of Farrar, died Tuesday, Oct. 12, 1993, at his home.

He was born June 2, 1915, in Perry County, son of Dietrich and Emma Lohman Brueckner. He and Leona Kaempfe were married June 17, 1945.

Brueckner was a retired farmer, and member of Salem Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Glen Brueckner of Perryville; a brother, Marvin Brueckner; a sister, Vera Roth, both of Perryville, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Salem Lutheran Church. The Rev. Bertram Schirmer will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Chapel in Perryville from 4-9 p.m. today, and 6:30-8 a.m. Friday.
