EUGENE RAYMOND THOMPSON

PERRYVILLE -- Eugene Raymond Thompson, 72, of Perryville, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 1991, at Perry County Memorial Hospital.

He was born June 29, 1919, at St. Mary's, Mo., son of Noah Cheatum Thompson, and Vicia Ann Reed Thompson.

He was married April 15, 1935 to Helen L. Anderson. She survives.

He is also survived by a son, Larry Thompson. of Perryville; one daughter, Carole Koeberl of Perryville; brothers, Henry Thompson and Vernard (John) Thompson, both of Perryville; seven grandchildren; and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and two sisters.

He was a car salesmen for Prost Motor Co. of Perryville 17 years.

He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Disabled American Veterans and the Holy Name Society. He was a World War II Army veteran.

Friends may call at Young & Sons Chapel, from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and from 6:30 to 9:10 a.m. Tuesday. A Catholic wake services will be held at the funeral home at 7 p.m. today.

Service will be held at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. with the Rev. Edward Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at Perryville.
