Eugene Huttegger, 72, of Cape Girardeau died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Chateau Girardeau.
He was born Feb. 12, 1940, in New Wells, Mo., to the late Alvin and Mabel Huttegger. Gene was a graduate of Central High School. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Maple United Methodist Church.
Gene's loving wife, Patricia, preceded him in death July 30, 2012.
Survivors include three daughters, Tammy Sellers and Pamela (Woody) Woodruff of Cape Girardeau, Lisa (Daniel) Newcomer of Jackson; a stepson, Mark (Gina Harper) Masters of Cape Girardeau; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a sister, Melva Weber of St. Louis; a niece and a nephew.
He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; and a daughter, Juli.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until service time Friday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bryan Schaefer officiating. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.
