Mr. Eugene Frazier of Cape Girardeau passed away on Sunday, April 4, 1999 at home. He was 75 years old and a well-known antique dealer who specialized in glass. Mr. Eugene Frazier of Cape Girardeau passed away on Sunday, April 4, 1999 at home. He was 75 years old and a well-known antique dealer who specialized in glass.

He was born June 7, 1923 at Portageville, the son of Dock and Leona Kingston Frazier. He married Gladys Hahn on Dec. 27, 1944 in Fort Riley, Kan.

Mr. Frazier was employed at Superior Electric from 1946 to 1950. He then went to work at the Missouri Utilities Power Plant, later was an operator at the Water Plant. He retired in 1987.

He was a World War II veteran, serving in the Philippines . He was a member of Red Star Baptist Church, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Electrical Workers Local 701.

He is survived by his wife of Cape Girardeau; two sons, Eugene Frazier Jr. and Stephen Dennis Frazier, both of Cape Girardeau; three daughters, Lois Marie Moon of Troy, Mo., Sharon Woodard of Rolla, Mo. and Connie Jo Wilson of Burfordsville, Mo.; three sisters, Louvena Lynn of Chaffee, Mo., Lois Busby of Millersville, Mo. And Minnie Dietiker of Cape Girardeau; five grandchildren, Eugene (Pete) Frazier III of Sikeston, Matthew Woodard of Rolla, Mo., Adam DeWitt Wilson of Burfordsville, Mo., Lisa Woodard of Chicago, Ill. and Christine Marie Frazier of Cape Girardeau; and one great granddaughter, Burgundy Rose Beltran of Cape Girardeau. He was preceded in death two two half-brothers and four brothers.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 9:00 p.m. Tuesday at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 7, 1999 at Ford & Sons Sprigg Street Chapel, the Rev. Don Stephens officiating. Internment will be at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley, Mo.
