EUGENE B. FRITSCHE

PERRYVILLE -- Eugene B. Fritsche, 83, of Perryville died Friday, Jan. 29, 1993 at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Oct. 7, 1909 in Perry County, the son of Max and Gertrude Muench Fritasche.

On May 6, 1946, he married the former Frieda Miesner. She survives.

He is also survived by two sons, Eugene and Roy Fritsche, both of Perryville; three daughters, Julie Meyr, Jackson, Charlotte Koeberl, Frohna, Nancy Schmidt, Fohna; one brother, Erwin Fritsche, Perryville; four sisters, Lilly Ehlers, Perryville. Erna Rubel, New Wells, Elsie Koch, Altenburg, Norma Clifton, Perryville; and 10 grandhcildren.

He was a member of Salem Lutheran Church at Farrar and a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, serving in the Pacific Theater.

He was also a member of American legion Post 133 in Perryville.

Friend may call after 4 p.m. today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.

Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at Salem Lutheran Church with the Rev. Bertram Schirmer officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
