ETTA MILLER

ADVANCE -- Etta M. Miller, 88, of Advance died Thursday, Nov. 11, 1999, at Advance Nursing Center.

She was born Dec. 10, 1910, at Greenbriar, daughter of Robert Levi and Roena McCullough Garner. She and Denzil Miller were married June 9, 1928, at Greenbriar. He died Oct. 13, 1993.

Miller had been a cook at Advance Public Schools.

Survivors include four sons, Freeman Miller of Wood River, Ill., Vernon and Kenneth Miller of Jackson, Hershel Miller of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Frieda Bitterman of Advance; a brother, Charlie Garner of Greenbriar; 15 grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. The Rev. Eldo Eaker will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
