SIKESTON -- Funeral service for Mrs. Ethel Williams of Sikeston will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at St. John's Missionary Baptist Church. The Rev. Flem E. Bonner Jr. will officiate, with burial in New Morning Star Cemetery at Haywood City.
Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home here after 6:30 p.m. Thursday.
Mrs. Williams, 91 years old, died Sunday, March 17, 1991, at Hunter Acres Caring Center here.
She was born Aug. 11, 1899, in Tunica, Miss., daughter of James and Annie Robinson. She married Lee Andrew Williams in 1922, who died in 1959.
Mrs. Williams was a member of New Home Baptist Church near Oran.
Survivors include a son, Curtis Williams of Sikeston; a brother, Major Robinson of Sikeston; two sisters, Charlotte Sorrel of Memphis, Tenn., Vertssa McCulley of Chicago; 12 grandchildren, and a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a son, three brothers, a sister and grandchild.
