ETHEL VAUGHN

SIKESTON -- Ethel Vaughn, 90, of Morley died Sunday, April 30, 1995, at the Sikeston Convalescent Center.

She was born July 23, 1904, the daughter of James Thomas and Elzabeth Victoria Holcomb Jordan. On Dec. 17, 1921, she married Frank Lee Vaughn in New Madrid County. He preceded her in death.

She was a homemaker, and had was a resident of Morley since moving there from Sikeston in 1943.

Survivors include a son, Dale Vaughn of Morley; four daughters, Thelma Cook and Darlis Young, both of Oran, and Wanda Ogden and Pat Reeves, both of Morley; 19 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

A daughter, four sisters, three brothers and two grandchildren preceded her in death.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Oran, where funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Bobby Bishop and the Rev. Jerry Williams will officiate, with burial in the New Morley Cemetery.
