Ethel Mason, 93, of Scott City died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 2, 1911, in Bell City, Mo., daughter of William Grant and Nellie Gilles Pyle. She and William Thomas "Bill" Mason were married May 15, 1938, at Dexter, Mo. He died May 14, 1993...

Ethel Mason, 93, of Scott City died Thursday, Nov. 25, 2004, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Sept. 2, 1911, in Bell City, Mo., daughter of William Grant and Nellie Gilles Pyle. She and William Thomas "Bill" Mason were married May 15, 1938, at Dexter, Mo. He died May 14, 1993.

Mason was a member of Bell City Methodist Church.

Survivors include a son, Ronald Mason of Scott City; three daughters, Charlotte Eidlin of Seattle, Wash., Shirleen Sando of Kennett, Mo., Sharon Hale of Cape Girardeau; a brother, Billy Pyle of St. Louis; a sister, Hazel Robak of St. Louis; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by six brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday.

The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the chapel, with the Revs. Charles Lance and Randy Morse officiating. Burial will be in Lightner Cemetery.
