PERRYVILLE -- Ethel M. Snyder, 76, of Crosstown died Friday, Sept. 24, 1999, at St. Anthony's Hospice Center in St. Louis.

She was born June 19, 1923, in Perry County, daughter of Lonnie and Esther Weith Tucker.

Snyder was retired from American Can Co., where she was an inspector.

Survivors include one son, Newton Caffrey of Winfield; four daughters, Patricia Turner of Shrewsbury, Terry Daugherty of St. Louis, Yvonne Browning of Destin, Fla., and Sharon Tollison of New Madrid; one brother, Alvin Tucker of Florrisant; a twin sister, Evelyn Lineback of St. Louis; 14 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

Friends may visit from 4 to 9 p.m Monday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday at Miller Family Funeral Home in Perryville. A parish wake will be held at 6 p.m. Monday and a rosary will be recited at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Funeral will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Catholic Church in Crosstown. The Rev. Kevin P. Fausz will officiate, with burial at St. James Catholic Church Cemetery.
