SIKESTON -- Ethel Mae Hunt, 102, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at Long Term Care Unit in Phillipsburg, Kan. She was born Nov. 6, 1895, in Harrisburg, Ill., daughter of Joel and Emaline Smith. She and John Willie Hunt were married June 8, 1913, at Parma. He died Feb. 28, 1960...

SIKESTON -- Ethel Mae Hunt, 102, died Wednesday, July 8, 1998, at Long Term Care Unit in Phillipsburg, Kan.

She was born Nov. 6, 1895, in Harrisburg, Ill., daughter of Joel and Emaline Smith. She and John Willie Hunt were married June 8, 1913, at Parma. He died Feb. 28, 1960.

Survivors include two daughters, Lorene Keeten of Glade, Kan., Dorothy Pearson of St. Charles; 10 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and two grandsons.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with burial in Sikeston City Cemetery.
