DEXTER, Mo. -- Ethel Melvina Fyffe, 76, of Dexter died Monday, Feb. 3, 2003, at her home.
She was born March 7, 1926, at Bernie, Mo., daughter of Charles and Melvina Nelson Clark. She and Eugene Fyffe were married Nov. 9, 1946, in Piggott, Ark. He died May 5, 1998.
Fyffe had been a private duty nurse. She was a member of Bernie Christian Church.
Survivors include two sons, Charles Fyffe of Dexter, Darrell Fyffe of Hoisington, Kan.; two daughters, Janice Shipman and Eugenia Abelson of Dexter; a brother, Robert Clark of Cape Girardeau; nine grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers, and three sisters.
Friends may call at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bernie Cemetery, with the Rev. Jerry Hayward officiating.
