BLODGETT, Mo. -- Ethel Louise Franks, 79, of Blodgett died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo. She was born May 25, 1925, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Walter David and Lela Victoria Riggs Deason Sr. She and James Edward Franks were married Jan. 25, 1948. He died Jan. 17, 1983...

BLODGETT, Mo. -- Ethel Louise Franks, 79, of Blodgett died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2004, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, Mo.

She was born May 25, 1925, in Blytheville, Ark., daughter of Walter David and Lela Victoria Riggs Deason Sr. She and James Edward Franks were married Jan. 25, 1948. He died Jan. 17, 1983.

Franks was a member of the Church of Christ.

Survivors include two brothers, Walter "Dub" Deason Jr. of Blodgett, Claude Deason of Sikeston; and a sister, Doris Ingram of Manila, Ark.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston from 5 to 8 p.m. today.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Bob Deason, a nephew, will officiate. Burial will be in Blodgett Cemetery.
