She was born April 29, 1939, in Melrose Park, Illinois. She was baptized and confirmed at St. John's Evangelical and Reformed Church in Melrose Park, Illinois.
She is survived by her son, Delfred Edward Lasley Jr.

On April 30, 1968, Esther married Norman Frank Nabor, who preceded her in death.
Friends and family are welcome to attend a memorial service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Hanover Lutheran Church, 2949 Perryville Road in Cape Girardeau.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Hanover Lutheran Church.
Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City is in charge of arrangements.
