ESTHER BLUMENBERG

Funeral for Esther Anna Blumenberg of Cape Girardeau will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Funeral Home. The Rev. Lee Cullen will officiate. Burial will be in Cape County Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 9 a.m. Saturday.

Blumenberg, 90, died Wednesday, Dec. 1, 1999, at the Lutheran Home.

She was born Sept. 2, 1909, at Gordonville, daughter of William and Martha Sander Luehring. She and Edwin A Blumenberg were married Jan. 28, 1933, at Gordonville. He died Feb. 17, 1985.

Blumenberg was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church and its Senior Ladies Aid and had been a volunteer at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She moved from Gordonville to Cape Girardeau in 1956.

Survivors include cousins.
