Ester Hartwick

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Ester May Hartwick, 62, of Sikeston died Tuesday, April 1, 2003, at Clearview Nursing Center.

She was born Aug. 11, 1940, in Dell, Ark., daughter of Russell R. and Estell O. Manes McMinn.

Hartwick was formerly of Bertrand, Mo., and had been a waitress.

Survivors include two sons, Michael Hartwick of St. Louis, John Hartwick of Bertrand; a daughter, Linda Oakley of Sikeston; two brothers, Raymond McMinn of San Antonio, Texas, Russell McMinn of Jacksonville, Fla.; five sisters, Dorothy Mooneyhan of Morehouse, Mo., Louise Grissom of Blytheville, Ark., Geraldine Blevins of Ocoee, Fla., Bonnie Keith and Brenda Rodery of Sikeston; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and four great-stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel after 12 Thursday.

The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kelly Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
