ESTELL MCMINN

SIKESTON, Mo. -- Estell O. McMinn, 86, of Sikeston died Sunday, July 23, 2000, at Clearview Nursing Center in Sikeston.

She was born June 12, 1914, in Dardanelle, Ark., daughter of Harrison and Claudia Raney Manes. She and Russell R. McMinn were married Feb. 23, 1932, in Dell, Ark. He died Jan. 13, 1993.

McMinn was a member of Cornerstone General Baptist Church in Bertrand, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, Raymond McMinn of San Antonio, Texas, Russell McMinn of Jacksonville, Fla.; six daughters, Louise Grissom of Blytheville, Ark., Dorothy Mooneyhan of Morehouse, Mo., Ester Hartwick of Sikeston, Geraldine Blevins of Ocoee, Fla., Bonnie Keith and Brenda Rodery of Sikeston; 26 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, a brother, and a granddaughter.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel, with the Rev. Kelley Grubbs officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
