Funeral service for Estel L. "Red" Bryant, 1373 County Road 206, will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel. The Rev. Cy Smith will officiate, with entombment in Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 4-8 p.m. today.

Bryant, 72, died Thursday, June 8, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.

He was born March 11, 1923, at Kinder, son of Joseph H. and Maude Hill Bryant. He and Leola Quade were married in 1945 in Cape Girardeau.

Bryant worked at Marquette Cement 29 years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of VFW Post 3838. He served in Europe during World War II.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Jerry Bryant of Sullivan, Mitchell Bryant of St. Louis; a daughter, Gail Larson of Bethesda, Md.; two brothers, Brady Bryant of Scott City, Albert Smith of Cape Girardeau; two sisters, Estelle Brown of Kankakee, Ill., Ester Berry of Bradley, Ill., and six grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son and brother.
