POCAHONTAS, Mo. -- Funeral for Ernst Henry Wallman of Pocahontas will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Mo., from 4-8 p.m. today...

POCAHONTAS, Mo. -- Funeral for Ernst Henry Wallman of Pocahontas will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Zion Lutheran Church in Pocahontas. The Rev. Howard Mueller will officiate. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson, Mo., from 4-8 p.m. today.

Wallman, 68, died Tuesday, March 20, 2001, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 18, 1932, in Pocahontas, son of Aaron and Hilda Walther Wallman. He and Delores Meyr were married April 28, 1957.

Wallman was a lifelong member of Zion Lutheran Church.

Survivors include his wife; his mother of Jackson; two sisters, Mildred Hoffman of New Wells, Mo., and Verna Koenig of Farrar, Mo.

He was preceded in death by his father.
