CROSSTOWN -- Ernst M. Hadler, 85, of Crosstown died Thursday, Nov. 14, 1991, at the Perry County Nursing Home.
He was born Dec. 10, 1905, at Farrar, the son of Henry and Marie Stelling Hadler.
On Jan. 21, 1932, he married Ruth Oster, who preceded him in death Nov. 13, 1986.
He was a retired farmer and a member of the Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown.
Survivors include two sons, Willis H. Hadler of Bismark and Kenneth E. Hadler of Downers Grove, Ill.; four daughters, Mary Lou Muench of Frohna, Ruth Luehrs of Farrar, Doris Petzoldt of Perryville, and Marilyn Brim of Jackson; a brother, Arthur Hadler of Perryville; three sisters, Clara Koenig and Erna Schuessler, both of Perryville, and Thelma Kaempfe of Villa Ridge; 22 grandchildren; and 29 great-granchildren.
Three brothers and three sisters also preceded him in death.
Friends may call before noon today at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville.
Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Zion Lutheran Church in Crosstown. The Rev. Bertram Schirmer will officiate, and burial will be in the church cemetery.
