OAK RIDGE -- Ernest William Mantz, 83, of Oak Ridge, Tenn., died Wednesday, Sept. 30, 1992.

He was born at Oak Ridge, Mo., son of Emil and Amelia Mantz. He owned and operated the Beacon Restaurant in Coldwater from 1952-54.

Survivors include his wife, Edna; a daughter, Edna Skowronski of Woodland Hills, Calif., and a sister, Nora Neumeyer of Tilsit.

Funeral service will be at 8:30 p.m. Friday at Weatherford Mortuary in Oak Ridge, Tenn., with the Rev. James P. Evers officiating. Graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Oak Ridge Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 7-8:30 p.m. Friday.
