SIKESTON - Ernest N. Inman, 85, of 314 Moore Ave. in Sikeston, died Saturday, Oct. 23, 1993 at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born Sept. 11, 1908 in Sikeston, the son of Lige and Elisa Mandrell Inman.
On Nov. 19, 1927 he married Dimple Brown in New Madrid, and she preceded him in death on Nov. 21, 1988.
He was a foreman for International Shoe Co. before his retirement and worked for the company 40 years.
Survivors include: two sons, E.R. "Dick" Inman and Gerald Inman, both of Sikeston; two sisters, Lucille Matthews of Sullivan, and Lavine Carter of Murray, Ky.; five grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a sister and three granddaughters.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, with Rev. Charles E. Buck, of the First United Methodist Church, officiating. Burial will follow in the Sikeston Memorial Park Cemetery.
