MARQUAND, Mo. -- Ernest A. "June" Homan Jr., 74, of Marquand died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Mo. He was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Marquand, the son of E.A. Homan Sr. and Esther Homan. He and Wilma A. Conway were married Dec. 31, 1948, in Roselle, Mo...

MARQUAND, Mo. -- Ernest A. "June" Homan Jr., 74, of Marquand died Monday, July 9, 2001, at Parkland Health Center in Farmington, Mo.

He was born Jan. 26, 1927, in Marquand, the son of E.A. Homan Sr. and Esther Homan. He and Wilma A. Conway were married Dec. 31, 1948, in Roselle, Mo.

Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Crystal McCallister of Jackson, Mo.; two brothers, Robert Homan and Vernon Homan, both of Marquand; two sisters, Dorothy Whitener of Marquand and Jane DeSpain of Tucson, Ariz.; two grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a daughter.

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at the Marquand Methodist Church.

Funeral will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the church. Burial will be in Whitener Cemetery in Marquand.

Arrangements are under the direction of Follis & Sons Funeral Home in Fredericktown, Mo.
