COBDEN, Ill. -- Ernest E. Holderfield, 59, of Cobden died Thursday, Aug. 13, 1998, at Union County Hospital in Anna.
He was born July 28, 1939, in Cobden, son of Ray and Alverda Pearman Holderfield. He and Charlene George were married March 20, 1959.
Holderfield was a carpenter with the family construction business.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Karen Robinson of Jonesboro; a son, Ernie Holderfield of Wolf Lake; a brother, Paul Holderfield of Herrin; four sisters, Mary Brimm of Cobden, Della Petty of Jonesboro, Earlene Highfield of Pasadena, Texas; Brenda Russell of Pana; and five grandchildren.
Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden after 6 p.m. today.
Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Joey McKinnies officiating. Burial will be in Alto Pass Cemetery.
