SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Ernest Dale Hartle, 66, of Sedgewickville died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home. Born on Nov. 21, 1946, in Millersville, he was the son of Harold Wiley and Geraldine Marie Counts Hartle. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy. SEDGEWICKVILLE, Mo. -- Ernest Dale Hartle, 66, of Sedgewickville died Saturday, July 13, 2013, at his home.

Born on Nov. 21, 1946, in Millersville, he was the son of Harold Wiley and Geraldine Marie Counts Hartle. He was a graduate of Jackson High School and a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy. He retired from work as a marine machinery mechanic at Charleston, S.C., Naval Shipyard.

Survivors include Judy Faye Boyles, his significant other for more than 25 years, of Sedgewickville; a son, Jeffrey Boyles of Minnesota; a brother, Larry (Brenda) Hartle of Millersville; granddaughters, Alexis and Sophia Boyles; special friends, Amos and Carol Hudson; and nephews, nieces and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Patsy Fulton.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home in Jackson.

A graveside military service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Russell Heights Cemetery in Jackson.
