ERNEST H. STRICKER

SIKESTON - Ernest Henry Stricker, 75, of Sikeston, died Friday, Jan. 1, at the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Aug. 20, 1917 to Henry Peter and Grace May Martin Stricker. He married Evelyn N. Hurley in Charleston, on July 22, 1939.

She survives, along with three sons, Kenneth Stricker of Sikeston, Gregory Stricker of St. Louis, Larry Stricker of Brattleboro, Vermont; one brother, Raymond Stricker of Charleston, and six grandchildren. Stricker was preceded in death by one son and one sister.

Stricker owned and operated Stricker's Auto Body Shop. He was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. Parish prayers will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today. The funeral mass will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, with Msgr. William Stanton officiating. Burial will be in the Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
