SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for Ernest E. "Bud" Stevens Sr. of Scott City will be held at 10 a.m. today at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel in Cape Girardeau. The Revs. Diana Cook and Gary Culbreth will officiate, with burial in Lorimier Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.

Stevens, 69, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 1992, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born April 7, 1923, in Providence, Ky.

Stevens was preceded in death by a son.
