Ernest Lee Corbin Jr., 48, of Cape Girardeau passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013, at Southeast Hospital.
He was born Dec. 30, 1964, in Cape Girardeau, son of Ernest Lee and Tommie Lois Clifton Corbin Sr.
Ernest was a plumbing contractor for Lowes in Cape Girardeau until his health failed. He was a former member of Eagles Aerie 3775 in Cape Girardeau.
Loving survivors include a daughter, Stephanie Upchurch of Poplar Bluff, Mo.; a son, Evan Corbin of West Haven, Conn.; a brother, Thomas Leonard Corbin of Jackson; a grandmother, Alvoy Richardson of Poplar Bluff; his partner of over 10 years, Regina Dobson of Cape Girardeau; Regina's children; Ernest's adopted sons, Jacob and Daniel Fultz of Cape Girardeau; and a niece, Kelly Simpson of Mounds, Ill.
Also surviving is Natasha Blackwell, whom he loved as a daughter; and her son, Ethan Blackwell of Poplar Bluff.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at Fruitland Community Church, with the Rev. Mike Parry officiating.
Cremation will be accorded by McCombs Funeral Home and Cremation Center in Jackson.
In lieu of flowers, donations will be accepted to McCombs Funeral Home to help defray funeral expenses.
