PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Erna A. Stueve, 90, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Independence Care Center of Perry County. She was born Aug. 1, 1921, at Farrar, Mo., daughter of Henry J. and Anna Meyer Lohmann. She and Paul Ervin Stueve were married Aug. 31, 1941. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 1985...

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Erna A. Stueve, 90, of Perryville died Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Independence Care Center of Perry County.

She was born Aug. 1, 1921, at Farrar, Mo., daughter of Henry J. and Anna Meyer Lohmann. She and Paul Ervin Stueve were married Aug. 31, 1941. He preceded her in death Feb. 6, 1985.

Mrs. Stueve was a certified nurses aid. She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, Mo.

Survivors include two sons, the Rev. Eugene (Lois) Stueve of Macon, Mo., Paul J. Stueve and friend Pat Heuman of Uniontown, Mo.; four daughters, Judith H. (Danny) Weible of Arnold, Mo., Eunice (Tom) Buerck of Uniontown, Sharon A. (Doug) Zoellner and Carol D. (Kenneth) Schmidt of Friedheim; a sister-in-law, Katherine Stueve of Jackson; 18 grandchildren; and 22 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; three sisters, Flora Hecht, Ada Stueve, Irma Brunkhorst; three brothers, Walter, Erwin and Eldor Lohmann; a daughter-in-law, Dellora Stueve; and two great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and 6:30 to 8 a.m. Wednesday at Young and Sons Funeral Home.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Longtown, with the Rev. Paul Winningham officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Memorial preference to Zion, Saxony or Immanuel School Tuition Fund or Holy Cross in St. Louis.
