ULLIN, Ill. -- Erma Richards, 87, of Ullin died Friday, March 25, 2005, at Union County Hospital in Anna, Ill.
She was born March 29, 1917, in Ullin, daughter of James and Elizabeth Mize Poole. She and Wilbur Richards were married Oct. 21, 1932. He died May 1, 1999.
Richards was a retired cook for Smiles and for Ullin Grade School. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Ullin.
Survivors include six daughters, Deloris Miller of Dongola, Ill., Betty Mowery of Anna, Shirley Huey of Portland, Ind., Geloria Jerrell of Lick Creek, Ill., Kathie Trexler of South Korea, Lori Tite of Ullin; a son, Wilbur E. Richards of Anna; 19 grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, two great-great-grandchildren, six brothers and a sister.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Crain Funeral Home in Ullin.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, with Dr. Jack Hill officiating. Burial will be in Cache Chapel Cemetery.
